Who We Are

Progeny Restoration Corp was founded in 2003 by Abdul Wahab and his son, Iqbal Hussain. The founders have over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. The family team knew that if they could combine each of their experiences and skills in engineering, construction, and management and add a unique working culture, something truly special and beneficial for New York communities could be created. The result was Progeny Restoration, a general construction company with the mission to help structurally beautify the city.

Our Uniqe Culture

Progeny Restoration specializes in general contracting work for residential and commercial spaces, and in landmark restoration. We approach each project with a special focus on our relationship with our customers, building a trust that has become a key ingredient to our success. At Progeny Restoration we understand that different customers have different visions and needs and therefore the work we do is extremely tailored and scalable to the project. For every customer's requests, no matter the size of the project and whether it is directed for an individual homeowner or corporate entity, at Progeny Restoration, we will work for YOU.

Our Leadership

Abdul Wahab

Abdul has more than thirty years of experience in construction industry. He began his career in a family owned business, often contracted by the Pakistani Government to build roads, bridges and housing. The Civil War, however, slowed public development and influenced Abdul to immigrate to the U.S. In 1979, Abdul and his brothers began to build a general contracting business anew. First by learning the trade through working as a Mason Helper, and then by partnering with local architects and the Landmark Preservation Commission, Abdul mobilized the necessary knowledge, experience, and opportunity. Through hard work and talent, Abdul helped position the company to become one of the top construction firms in N.Y. However, Abdul felt that he could achieve even more and decided to explore innovative ways to manage. He took the business in a new direction, separating from the partnership in 2003. No longer feeling restricted in decision-making, Abdul acted on his inspirations, creating a better approach to meeting the needs of the customer and initiating improved quality control processes. Abdul's vision became Progeny Restoration when his son joined his ambition.
